Jus Luv Inc. is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit founded in 2008, that provides life skills programs for girls "aging out" of foster care. Our goal is to help these at-risk girls transition into a successful adulthood. This is achieved through educating, empowering, advocating and expanding their perspectives. Jus Luv programs are different because they emulate family and a sense of sisterhood.
Our programs benefit these girls and the community as a whole. With a safety net, they are far less likely to become perpetrators or victims of crime or consumed by poverty. Instead, they are provided with hope for a prosperous and fulfilling future.
According to the Oregon DHS website,
nationally, 20,000 youth "age out" of foster care each year. "With no
foster care funding, youth may lose their place to live, health
care coverage, connections to supportive adults, and may not be prepared
to live independently in an adult world."
